Hardy Gnome Auto-Mount LUKs Key-file Encrypted Volumes
Gnome (via gnome-mount) has supported unlocking LUKS-encrypted volumes that use a password for some time now, but still doesn't support a key-file. I wrote a patch for the gnome-mount and hal packages in 2007 to enable key-file unlocking. It makes handling key-file protected volumes so much easier.
I've recently updated to Hardy and again needed to patch the installation to use key-files. I took advantage of the time to create two proper Ubuntu packages in my Personal Package Archive at Ubuntu for Hardy.
The packages are available from my PPA Archive. They are:
- hal - 0.5.11~rc2-1ubuntu8.2~ppa1
- gnome-mount - 0.8~svn20080225-0ubuntu5~ppa1
