jsEvents plug-in for PJIRC Java IRC Client

Provides a mechanism for PJIRC to send event-related messages to Javascript functions within the body of a document in the Browser window. See:  http://www.pjirc.com for the latest PJIRC applet.

Overview

PJIRC is a Java Internet Relay Chat (IRC - Instant Messaging) client most often used as an applet embedded in a web page. It provides a live chat service using standard IRC servers. PJIRC was designed to be extended by other programmers using the concept of plug-ins; small components that provide additional functionality.

jsEvents is one such plug-in. It provides a mechanism to tell a web page what is going on. It does this by calling prefined javascript functions in the web page.
